We are looking for staff for our pool within social services.

As a care worker, you are responsible for personal care, with a strong focus on the healthy aspects of the individual. The target group is the elderly and people with disabilities. You will perform delegated tasks for licensed healthcare professionals, such as training programs and certain medical tasks. Working in the pool means you have a fixed schedule but no fixed workplace; you will be placed by our staffing administrators at one of our units, primarily in elderly care and sometimes in disability services. The workplace may vary from one day to the next.

To be employed in the pool, we require that you have experience in care work, possess good collaboration skills, and can apply your theoretical knowledge in practice.

Communicating with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues, and working according to people's different needs and conditions is an important part of our mission. Together with the environment, good care must be maintained and provided with consideration for normal aging.

In Orsa Municipality, we have introduced Full-time as the norm, which means that all positions are 100%. There is the possibility to take leave for 15 or 25%.

This position means that you will only work evenings and every other weekend.

Qualifications

You should be flexible and enjoy caring for and supporting both care recipients and their relatives. As a person, you have a positive attitude and find it easy to collaborate with others. The work requires commitment, participation, and responsiveness. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We want you to be able to work independently and professionally.

Eligibility requirements for the position:

• Trained nursing assistant
• Work experience in care and support.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language.
• Good IT skills.
• Driver's license with category B.

Meritorious for the position

Knowledge of care administrative systems such as LifeCare, e-medication.

The social services sector includes elderly care with special housing and home care, special care for people with disabilities, individual and family care (IFO), and the labor market unit (AME).

Elderly care works to ensure that people can age with dignity and security in Orsa Municipality. Services should be provided based on the individual's own needs and wishes.
